What is Termite Baiting?
Termite baiting is a system our team uses outside your home to attract termites then they take the bait back to their nest. How Does Termite Baiting Work?
Termite baits are set up outside the structure of the home that the troublemakers are trying to invade. Once our Gold Coast termite technician is sure of the presence of termites in the baiting system, a white powder is applied that the termites feed on then carry back to their colony. In the bait is a growth inhibitor for insects and, as a result, their jaws soften. Therefore, it will take about 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the size and type of insect, before the colony will be wiped out.
The bait is safe to use, has no smell and only affects specific insects with an exoskeleton, so your pets and children are safe if they come into contact with the substance.
